Training Center

We started our training journey at Mard Al Qahwa as an accredited center of the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association International) in 2017, where we obtained the accredited training membership of the AST Association at the Mard Al Qahwa training center, and we helped dozens of coffee lovers enter the job market through its widest doors.

Our beginnings in the world of coffee started in 2016, and our goal from the beginning has been to develop and improve the quality of coffee offered locally and to raise the level and a new idea in spreading the culture of specialty coffee in the Kingdom by focusing on serving businesses. We have worked with many of the leading brands today at the level of the Kingdom since the establishment stage, and we have accompanied some of them to different parts of the Kingdom.
We have supported more than 60 brands in the region over the past years, and our relationship with them is a fruitful partnership and support that extends beyond providing coffee and training to extending a helping hand in emergencies with all the consultations, staff, and equipment we can offer. We strive to share our long-standing experience with our partners.

At Mared Coffee, since its establishment, our values ​​and goals have been to spread the culture of specialty coffee in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by focusing on serving and developing wholesale and business services in the field of specialty coffee locally. We have worked with many leading brands in the field since the early stages of their establishment and supported these brands to grow and occupy large market shares of the local product throughout the Kingdom.

Beginner barista skills

This course is designed to introduce the fundamentals of barista skills to those with no prior experience.
This course covers learning about grinders and equipment, and preparing espresso professionally.

Home Barista Course

The course is designed to establish the basic skills for preparing espresso without any prior experience in preparing espresso.

Participants in the course will be able to adjust the grinder to prepare espresso and milk drinks.

Intermediate Barista Skills Course

The intermediate-level brewing course builds upon the principles and skills introduced in the foundational course. It is ideal for someone with brewing experience who wants to explore how to improve coffee quality. This course covers a wide range of topics, including exploring the brewing process in terms of equipment, extraction sequence, hydration, and maintenance.

Yemen Haraz

A distinctive crop that comes within the family of distinctive crops in the coffee giant of Colombia, it is characterized by hints of passion fruit, apple and jasmine. This crop is grown at an altitude of 1800 meters to 1700 meters above sea level, and is processed by drying.

Ethiopia Aida

A distinctive crop that comes within the family of distinctive crops in the coffee giant of Ethiopia, it is characterized by clear hints of lemon, apricot and tropical fruits, and this crop is grown at an altitude of 1950 meters to 2300 meters above sea level.

The Colombian Devizo coffee is considered one of the most distinctive and highly regarded varieties. It exemplifies Colombian advancements in coffee processing and cultivation techniques. Grown at an altitude of up to 1490 meters above sea level using natural processing methods, it is of the Bourbon variety and boasts notes of mango, peach, and other tropical fruits.
