What do you need?
- Coffee
- Brewing device
- Filter
- Grinder
- Scale
- Timer
- Water kettle
Step One:
Start by heating 600-700 ml of water, double what you need for brewing coffee, to a temperature of 92-96.
Step Two:
Prepare 25 - 30 grams of coffee.
Step Three:
While the water is heating, grind the coffee. The grind should be between fine and medium-coarse, similar to sea salt crystals.
Step Four:
Insert the filter.
Step Five:
Pour water to wet the filter and warm the brewer and cup, then discard the water and prepare to brew the coffee.
Step Six:
Place the ground coffee, then gently shake it to level it for even extraction.
Step Seven:
Start by pouring water in the center, double the amount of coffee, then pour outwards but avoid pouring on the filter, and wait 30-45 seconds for the coffee to bloom. You will notice the coffee expanding.
Step Eight:
Continue pouring the rest of the water gently in a circular motion and at a rate such that the coffee extraction is completed within 2:30 to 3 minutes.
Enjoy your coffee
