Additional information:
The Anza region is located in a corner of the Cauca province, bordered by the Tolma and Huila regions and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The area is an important source of water and wildlife, as well as being a significant coffee-growing region.

The Association of Coffee Growers (ASORCAFE) was formed in 2004 and was founded by ten farmers. The reason for its establishment was despair over the money they were receiving for growing coffee, which was less than the global price of coffee.
