Norte Pioneiro do Paran is located on the southern border of the world's coffee belt.
The farm produces specialty coffee and enjoys a warm, tropical climate. For the past three years, the farm has been harvesting coffee mechanically using a Louis invention. This invention has allowed the farm to harvest and select the finest varieties of the crop.

Currently, the farm employs five coffee processing methods: full washing (a rare practice in Brazil), honey hulling (for both black and yellow beans), and natural drying. The selection process for each batch of coffee on the farm is determined by the climate at the time, particularly during the drying stages. The farm processes a significant portion of its coffee by hydration. However, in warm, sunny weather, the farm prefers honey hulling. After selection, the coffee is sent to the processing plant for pulp extraction and then left to dry in an open area. Since unpredictable weather conditions can sometimes disrupt the drying process, the farm has implemented a combination of natural drying methods, relying entirely on sunlight, and mechanical methods controlled by the farmer.
The coffee is then sent to the farm's warehouses to be prepared for the coffee tasting process to test its quality, after which it is ready for export.
