This exceptional product was processed, dried, and exported by Testi Coffee, a family business run by the Yunus family, who are making a name for themselves in Ethiopia's specialty coffee market. For many years, Faisal Yunus was the first person to be seriously involved in coffee cultivation. Faisal started in 1990, but initially only supplied the local market. With the growing interest in specialty coffee in Ethiopia, Faisal saw an opportunity to expand, so he established Testi Coffee in 2009 as a coffee exporting company. Faisal surrounded himself with many coffee professionals and hired his nephew, Adham, who grew up and studied in the United States, to help with marketing.

Today, Testi Coffee owns or operates four coffee washing centers in Guji, Yirgeshef, Sidamo, and Lemo, which are among the most important coffee-growing regions in Ethiopia. This coffee is processed using traditional methods at the Tore station in Gilana, on behalf of the owner, Masreshu Sima. The coffee is delivered to several points before being taken to the washing stations. It is dried for 15 to 18 days, during which time quality is monitored. The company works with several smallholder farmers to secure the best prices for their coffee. They have also purchased a 250-hectare farm in the Bench Maji Zone to conduct experiments with organic farming and are constructing a warehouse to process the coffee locally, thus increasing their profit margins.

Testi's goal is quality and building long-term business relationships. Their washing facilities operate exceptionally well, and they perform exceptionally well in terms of cleanliness and quality of the sourced coffee. The company is committed to maintaining the highest standards of coffee quality.

In 2018, the company established a quality improvement project across all of its washing plants. Their high-quality coffee production program controls every aspect of harvesting and processing to ensure the best possible natural product. They also contribute to the community by building new classrooms in schools near their processing plants, and with the help of importers, they aim to expand their operations in the future.

The name Testi means happiness in Harari and is also Faisal's middle name. The company certainly brings happiness to small producers as well as roasters. The Tore processing plant is named after the village, home to some of the best coffee in Yirgchiev. Tore is the oldest plant operated by the company, established in 2005 and managed by the company on behalf of owner Masreshu Sima. Testi operates the processing plants year-round, adhering to all quality standards. Coffee is brought to the plants by 750 to 800 small farms, serving various collection points. The plant produces up to 5 containers per year.
